Finance Assistant

Job Description

This is a supporting role within the organization’s Finance Team performing various tasks such as processing and recording transaction, communicate with external stakeholder, preparation of financial reports, and clerical duties.

Specifically, he/she shall be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing journal entries for recording of expense, cash receipts and other financial transactions
  • Preparing payment vouchers, printing, and issuance of check payments
  • Handling communication with vendors, bank representatives, government agencies
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliation
  • Filing all relevant expense, purchase, and other disbursements documentation
  • Assisting in the monthly closing process
  • Assisting in preparing financial reports requested by other teams and/or required by regulatory agencies

Requirements:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or any business-related course
  • Adept in MS Office, particularly MS Excel functions
  • Experience in Quickbooks or equivalent is an advantage
  • Must be keen on details
  • Willing to learn and flexible to handle multiple tasks
