To achieve this, we:

• Prevent pollution by minimizing the generation of land, water, noise, and air contaminants from all activities.
• Use resources sustainably by implementing energy conservation measures.
• Support climate change mitigation and adaptation by continually considering trade-offs and best environmental methods to minimize our environmental footprints.
• Protect biodiversity and ecosystem by avoiding and/or minimizing land disturbance and unnecessary clearing of vegetation whenever possible, and to restore and rehabilitate lands affected by MMCI’s activities.
• Fulfill compliance obligations by observing applicable national and local environmental laws, regulations and other applicable requirements, and to continually consult and communicate with stakeholders on environmental protection and management.
• Establish, implement and maintain the processes needed to prepare for and respond to potential emergency situations.
• Foster an environmentally conscious culture at all workplaces.
• Continually support and train employees in environmental protection and management.

The management, all employees, onsite goods and service providers including visitors are required to comply with these commitments.
